Established in 1973, Chobe Game Lodge is one of the most famous lodges in Botswana and the only permanent lodge located within the renowned Chobe National Park. This privileged location allows guests to be the first to enter the park every morning and the last to leave, providing photographers with a significant advantage.

Within the lodge, and shaded by magnificent mahogany trees, Chobe offers an elegant five-star experience with 40 spacious and stylish rooms, along with four luxurious suites. Guests can unwind in various complimentary bars and seating areas or by the pool, and they can choose from various dining areas.

An incredible 250 meter board walk runs along the river and forms the focus of the lodge. Walking along the promenade, or finding a seat along its length gives guests a chance to peacefully (barring the grunting hippos) observe the wildlife without even getting into a car or boat.

For corporate guests, modern conference facilities are available, supported by lodge-wide Wi-Fi and convenient access to Kasane.

An entire fleet of solar-powered boats makes for a revolutionary 'silent' safari experience on the Chobe River.

The future of safaris. Chobe Game Lodge is phasing in the first electric game-drive vehicles in Botswana.

All dining is alfresco, with a beautiful accessible covered main restaurant, east & west deck areas, and several private dinner locations along the boardwalk.

A well-priced and uniquely stocked curio shop with a range of locally and regionally made items unique to the lodge.

The conference area can accommodate up to 90 delegates, with smaller, more intimate areas available for smaller groups & incentives.

A stunning location alongside the Chobe River, perfect for traditional BBQ evenings and alfresco breakfast dining.

The lodge has two accessible rooms, as well as wheelchair access to all main areas, including the lower bar, main restaurant, lounge, and curio shop.

A well-equipped and extra-cooled air-conditioned gym and Kalahari-inspired spa with a comprehensive selection of treatments on offer.

Wi-Fi is offered throughout the public areas, boardwalk, and rooms. Mobile phone connectivity is also available.

The lodge comprises of 40 rooms ranging from twin/double to interleading, triple and family rooms all with decked out river-facing balconies.

Four stunning honeymoon or family suites come with a private plunge pool, a large private balcony, and a lounge area.

The long boardwalk and several viewing areas connect guests with the prolific wildlife, perfect for viewing vast herds of migrating elephants.

Taking care of guests from the moment they arrive, scheduling guests' preferred safari activities, and assisting with any special requests.

Dining on the deck

The quintessential Chobe dining experience. Watch the sun disappear over the horizon, quickly-changing colours reflected on the waters of the Chobe, as lantern light slowly replaces the last rays of the sun.

Dining in the lodge

Set a little way from the river, our terraced dining is intimate and sophisticated. Wander from the bar when you're ready to eat, and settle in for some of the best food in Botswana.

Private dining

The ultimate private dining. Whether you want a romantic meal for two, or a family meal without the stress of youngsters disturbing other guests, eating in your own private terrace is a real treat.

On the water

Whilst not strictly a full meal, bitings on the boat is a completely unforgettable experience, allowing you to enjoy your boat trip a little longer, before hunger forces you home!

Conference Facilities

At Chobe Game Lodge we have experience of running everything from intimate corporate retreats or family reunions to large company incentives with exclusive use of the lodge. There are private dining locations for small to large groups along the boardwalks and deck areas over the river and the riverside boma with cultural entertainment makes for an ideal finale to a corporate getaway.
