Eco Tours

As one of the oldest lodges in Southern Africa, as well as the only permanent property inside Chobe National park, we see it as our duty to lead by example. In 2014 we invited ministers, press and industry colleagues from around the world to the banks of the Chobe River for the launch of the first electric game-drive vehicle and electric-powered safari boat in Africa, and we have multiple environmental and community initiatives that we are constantly refining.

Somewhat unusually in this industry, we encourage our guests to take an Ecotour round the back of house to learn about these projects from one of our most longstanding colleagues Albert Ndereki.

Mr Ndereki will introduce you to some of the amazing people who work so hard in the background with him, and give you an insight into the innovative projects taking place.
