Chobe National Park was recently nominated as one of the top twenty national parks in the world via an international survey conducted by the Sunday Times Newspaper, London. Chobe’s three spectacular 1988 safari programmes

The Ngamiland Trail-Chobe, Moremi, Okavango - A ten-day package based out of Gaberone, Johannesburg and Harare. The co-partners in this venture are Desert and Delta Safaris, who own and operate two of the finest luxury camps in Botswana, namely Camp Okavango and Camp Moremi.

The package incorporates three nights at Chobe Game Lodge, an air transfer into the Okavango Delta, thence three nights at Okavango, a boat transfer to Moremi National Reserve, thence three nights at Camp Moremi. This package will certainly offer both the domestic and international traveler a unique African safari and certainly comparable with anything in east and central Africa.

Five-star life at Chobe

Chobe Game Lodge is Africa’s most exclusive safari resort. Situated in the remote and unspoiled northern extremity of the Park and approximately 90 kilometers west of Victoria Falls, the lodge offers five-star luxury and every comfort for your sojourn in the wilds.

The architecture is in the graceful Moorish style, with high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors creating an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquility. All 45 en-suite rooms are are-condidtioned and tastefully furnished, and overlook the Chobe River and adjacent Caprivi floodplain.

For the connoisseur of luxury, there are four private suites each with individual swimming pool and outside garden patio. Facilities within the lodge include a well stocked curio shop, wildlife reference library and stylish decorated Linyanti bar and lounge area. A modern conference centre accommodating 100 delegates has recently been opened and the venue is deal as a corporate getaway. All conference aids are available.

The cuisine is superb, with a touch of African flavor and variety, and in keeping with the finest resorts in the world. Venison specialties and outside barbeques are very much a part of the Chobe experience.
