The rectangular conference room is flanked by a terrace overlooking the sloping gardens which lead to the river’s edge and is ideal for private al fresco refreshments. Access is from the sliding glass windows, which give panoramic views of the gently flowing water. There is a spacious pre-assembly area leading from the hotel foyer to the conference room, which can be used for breaks in the proceeding or for registration. Up to 100 people (the capacity of the hotel itself) can be accommodated in conference style seating, 75 hosted to a banquet or 200 entertained at a cocktail party. The conference room is fully air-conditioned, although the sliding doors can admit the natural coolingbreezes of the water if preferred. It is ideal for a wide range of functions, from vehicle launches and exhibitions, fashion shows, ro corporate think tank sessions, governmental meetings or motivation seminars.
