Our Best of Chobe Safari Package allows you to discover the plentiful wildlife of the Chobe National Park while enjoying all the modern conveniences. This Chobe safari package is ideal for families or small groups travelling together. Set out on exciting game drives in an open safari vehicle, led by an expert guide in search of the famous Chobe Elephants. Go on tranquil sunset river cruises and see large herds of wildlife scattered across the floodplains.

This Chobe lodge is renowned for its excellent service and friendly staff. It has a tropical feel with lush gardens – the pool is a lovely oasis with palms and loungers. Warthogs are commonly seen on the lawn and shy Bushbucks emerge from the bushes to graze on the lawns between your room and the main lodge.

Accommodation is offered in a comfortable suite overlooking the Chobe River. They are comfortably furnished and have air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. You will savour sumptuous buffet meals that offer a wide variety of choice. In the evening you will enjoy traditional entertainment in the boma.

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kasane - Chobe National Park

In the morning on the first day of the Best of Chobe safari package you will catch an international flight from O.R. Tambo International Airport to Kasane. Once the plane has landed, you will be driven to the lodge in a safari vehicle – a mini game drive that introduces the wildlife of the Chobe National Park.

There will be time to settle into the lodge. On the way to your room you may see Warthog “mowing the lawn”, friendly Bushbuck or lively Mongooses. After tea set out to explore the region on a game viewing activity - either a game drive or river cruise.

Day 2: Chobe National Park

In the morning there will be an early wake-up call followed by a cup of coffee/tea and muffins before setting out on the morning game drive. Keep a look out for animals such as Wild Dog and Elephants. During your Chobe tour you may see all the Big Five in the park, as well as other animals such as Zebra and Giraffe. The guides are all very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and abound with stories about life in the bush.

Around mid-morning, the drive will return to the lodge, where a brunch that consists of a huge buffet spread will be waiting. Afterwards there will be some time to relax, perhaps sit on the viewing deck overlooking the river or enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. In the late afternoon a tasty high tea with delicious treats is served out on the deck. This is followed by a cruise up the Chobe River which is a good opportunity to see the Chobe Elephants coming down to drink.

In the evening the lodge may offer a boma dinner – a great opportunity to sample traditional dishes and enjoy live entertainment in the form of a marimba band and traditional singing. Afterwards, spend time in the games room and have a game of pool or learn about the southern stars during a star gazing session.

Day 3: Chobe National Park - Kasane – Johannesburg

On the final morning of your Chobe safari package head out on one last early morning game drive, perhaps coming across Lions on a kill or a Leopard slipping into the riverine forest. Once back at the lodge, there will be time for brunch before being driven to the airport to catch your flight back to Johannesburg O. R. Tambo International Airport.
